For one person making a game. The roadmap plans a free tier.
For teams. The roadmap proposes per-seat pricing, with the cloud features once they ship.
Envy is in alpha. We open it to people on the waitlist in small waves, and alpha access is free. Paid plans for studios are planned, and we will publish their prices here before they apply.
Not for the editor itself. It runs in your browser and keeps your work there, and you can save any document to a .envy.json file on your disk whenever you like.
Your documents are plain JSON files that you keep. The runtimes read those files directly, so a game that ships with Envy UI keeps working whatever happens to the editor.
Godot 4.3 and newer, and the web. Unity and Unreal runtimes are planned.
That is the plan: the roadmap proposes the MIT license for both runtimes so studios can adopt them without risk. It is not final yet, and this page will say so when it is.
Yes. The AI handoff export gives an agent AGENTS.md, a contract of events and data paths, screenshots and typed code for Godot and TypeScript.
